Aloha MPI 1978ers! Let’s all get together at Gordon Biersch (Aloha Tower) on June 21st, Friday at 5pm-ish for pupus and drinks! I’ll make reservations for some tables near the bar outside. Drop me a note to let me know if you can make it. Please invite everyone and anyone who wants to talk story with us! Heard there will be an 80’s band playing that evening. See you all there!

Aloha, Classmates! Here is the letter from MPI acknowledging our 40th year reunion donations! This was a great start to our 50th year goal.

September 17, 2018 Update:
Aloha!
Just a quick update on our fundraising effort for our reunion weekend.
We raised $4200.
Not bad for our initial effort. Please don't forget, our goal is to reach or exceed $50,00 by 2028 (our 5oth class reunion year).
Next step? A bunch of us (please let me know if you want to join us) will be meeting with the Alumni Office administrators to start our Class of 1978 Endowment Fund. This is where we will bank our fundraising efforts from here on out. We will establish a formal process for our classmates to directly donate towards our fundraising efforts and at the same time get whatever tax benefits are allowable with their contributions. We will be contacting all of you when those formal processes are established.
Again, thank you to all of you who made this 40th year reunion such a successful weekend. I love you all and hope to keep in touch with everyone!
